This week, Jenny, Brittany and I went to visit the University of Maryland- College Park campus. Not only did we meet a lot of really interesting students, professors, coaches and TAs, but we also became enamored with a few squirrels on campus. Halfway through the week we learned that when students said we'd be doing a lot of walking- they weren't messing around. Discovering the campus buses was a lifesaver.
After chatting with students about UniversityJunction, here's a few things they had to say:
- "This sounds like something I should be using for Econ- I'll do anything to pass that class"
- "Awesome idea, why wasn't it created when I started school?"
- "I'd love to try the site, but the program won't run on my computer"
- "I've tried a few other sites that are similar, but the related resources is something I've never seen before"
We also made a few short visits to George Washington
Uni
versity, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins. Here's a couple of guys at Georgetown sporting our gear.This trip was a very eye opening experience for us - we learned a lot about what students want from the site, and a few things they could live without. Look out for some changes in the coming weeks, and keep giving us feedback!
